For more than 15 years, Kim Humphreys has provided strategic direction on human resources, organizational effectiveness, and corporate culture to numerous organizations across diverse industries, including health care, natural resources, utilities, clean technology, and mining.

Currently, Vice President Human Resources for First Nations Health Authority, Kim guides and supports a First Nations-centric, community-driven and nation-based organizational culture. Her prior experience includes progressive leadership positions, including Vice President of People and Culture for Alloycorp Mining Inc., Vice President of Human Resources and Administration at Coalspur Mines Operations Ltd., Director of HR Services for ATCO Group, and Manager of Employee Development for Newalta. She was previously employed in various roles within Alberta Health Services, Calgary Health Region and Saskatoon Health Region as well. In her community, Kim is a Founder and Trustee of HAB Family Foundation, and Board Member of Dress for Success Vancouver.

Kim holds a Bachelor’s of Commerce from University of Saskatchewan; a Master’s of Arts in Education from New Mexico State University; and, an Evidence Based Coaching Certificate from Fielding Graduate University. She has earned professional designation as a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and is an active member of the Human Resources Management Association (HRMA). In 2014, Kim was awarded the Award of Excellence – Team by the Human Resources Institute of Alberta.
