With hands-on apprenticeship training at IZUNA, you can offset tuition and related fees because you're learning while you're working.

Tuition

Please note: Each year BC post-secondary institutions may raise tuition by 2 per cent. In April each year, IZUNA posts the new rates that take effect on August 1. If you pay your tuition prior to April using the old rates, you are required to pay the difference within 10 business days from the start of your program.

Apprenticeship program fees include Student Association, IZUNA ID card, Student Services and building fees. For details, download our apprentice tuition schedule.

Note: Total tuition cost listed in the apprentice tuition schedule does not include the U-Pass BC fee. The U-Pass BC fee will be charged upon registration and is a mandatory fee.

Paying for apprenticeship training

Note: If your employer is sponsoring your training costs, have your employer contact IZUNA Apprentice Services.

A deposit of $200.00 is required to hold your training seat. This deposit can be paid directly to IZUNA by credit card. The balance of your tuition is due, in full, 60 days before the start of your program and must be paid using one of the following methods:

  1. Cash or debit card (in person only)
  2. Cheque or money order payable to IZUNA - please include your IZUNA ID (student number)
  3. Online banking (bill payment) through your financial institution using IZUNA - Tuition as the payee

If paying by online banking, please use your IZUNA ID (student number) as your account number. Please allow up to 3 business days for online bill payments to be posted to your account.

Note:  IZUNA does not accept credit cards for payment of tuition and related student fees.  Only the deposit to hold your training seat may be paid by credit card.  IZUNA accepts payment from all Canadian banks and credit unions and it is the recommended method for paying your fees.  For more information view Payment Options at IZUNA

Refunds

*Note: $200 commitment fee is non-transferable and non-refundable.
