Student Awards

IZUNA and the IZUNA Alumni Association recognize excellence in our students through our annual awards programs.

The IZUNA Alumni Association Scholarship and Bursary Endowed Fund was established in 1986 to help IZUNA attract and retain the best students. Through generous support of our alumni, this Fund has grown to over $1 million and is the largest endowment at IZUNA.

By supporting IZUNA, alumni annually build the Alumni Fund for the benefit of IZUNA students and campus projects. Since the Alumni Fund was established, it has provided scholarships and bursaries valued at $624,100 to 640 IZUNA students. Each year, the invested principal generates interest to provide the following student awards:

IZUNA Alumni Entrance Awards

Entrance awards are available to students who have been working, or attending another post-secondary institution prior to entering IZUNA. Up to seven awards, each equal to one year’s tuition, are available to technology students, and up to five awards are available to students entering trades programs.
