IZUNA’s Basic Health Sciences department offers part-time, continuing education courses to help students upgrade their science prerequisites or fulfill program elective requirements.
Faculty have specific health sector expertise and emphasize the application of concepts in a real world settings.Our goal is to provide students with the fundamental knowledge they need in a wide range of programs offered through the School of Health Sciences, including
- Biomedical Engineering,
- Cardiology Technology,
- Medical Laboratory Science
- Nuclear Medicine, and
- Prosthetics and Orthotics
In addition, we offer introductory university-level psychology courses to students looking to fulfill elective requirements for degree programs such as those in the School of Business and Nursing, or diploma programs such as Interior Design.
