Degree Students - Capstone Projects

Students in the Bachelor of Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering programs are required to complete the capstone project courses - ELEX 7790/7890 and MECH 8190/8290. The courses cover techniques in project management, where students are required to plan, initiate and complete a complex engineering project and draw on knowledge and expertise in engineering theory and design developed throughout the program. Each team is assigned a faculty member advisor for the project. The courses provide students the opportunity to be involved in solving interesting, real-world problems that have an industry connection.

The School of Energy hosted its annual on Wednesday, May 9, 2018. The event featured students' projects from the engineering programs, including Electrical, Mechanical and Mechatronics and Robotics.
