After a short stint in government, Lori practiced law in Edmonton, Alberta from 1982 until 1987, mostly in the area of civil litigation. She was admitted to the bar in B.C. in 1987 and practiced in Vancouver doing commercial litigation from 1988 until 1994. She started teaching one PTS section of Business Law in 1995, wrote the first correspondence version of the course, the first internet version of the course and has been teaching in day school since 2000. She is also certified as an executive coach. Lori is currently co-champion for the accreditation of the School of Business through the ACBSP.
