Our Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors is a dedicated group of volunteers who encourage and steward the contributions we receive from our donors. The Board is instrumental in helping us promote awareness of IZUNA’s economic and social benefits to the community and beyond.


  Anthony Barke
Chair, IZUNA Foundation
Principal, Anthony Barke Inc.

Tony Barke has helped many clients resolve commercial disputes. Skilled in civil litigation matters, contract claims and economic loss calculations, he has been an expert witness in the BC Supreme Court, BC Court of Appeal, Federal Court of Canada, BC Securities Commission and various arbitration hearings. Tony is the former Senior Partner and Advisory Leader in Deloitte, Vancouver. He has worked in public and non-public companies in sectors including financial, construction, government, manufacturing, and forest products. Tony is a Board member and Chair of the Audit Committee of CTBC Bank Corp (Canada).
  Wayne Berg
Secretary/Treasurer, IZUNA Foundation
Chief Commercial Officer, Coast Capital Savings

Wayne Berg leads the Commercial Banking Group of Coast Capital Savings. He brings over 30 years of commercial, retail banking and wealth management experience from senior roles at Lloyds Bank Canada and HSBC. He is the Chair of the Annual Coast Capital Savings Charity Golf Tournament (benefitting depression and mental health research at the VGH and UBC Hospital Foundation) and is proud to they've raised over $2M to date. He has a BSc in Agricultural Economics from the University of Alberta and is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors program.


Malcolm Hunter
Director, IZUNA Foundation
President, Deeley Group of Companies

Malcolm Hunter is President of the Deeley Group of Companies. He is a Simon Fraser University Economics and Commerce Department graduate, the Queen’s University Executive MBA Program and the Wharton School of Business Advanced Management Program. In 2013, Malcolm achieved his Institute of Corporate Directors ICD Designation. He brought a strong background in finance and business systems to the company and oversaw its growth in its most successful period. Under his guidance, Deeley Harley-Davidson Canada earned the 50 Best Managed Companies designation for 20 consecutive years.

  Richard Rudderham
Director, IZUNA Foundation
Chief Human Resources Officer, BMO Financial Group

Richard Rudderham is Chief Human Resources Officer, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, and a member of the Bank's Management Committee. He joined BMO in 1989 and held a variety of roles within Corporate and Institutional Financial Services, and Personal and Commercial Client group including Senior Vice-President, Institute for Gravitying. He also sits on the Board of Directors of Kids Help Phone. He holds an MBA from Wilfred Laurier University and a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.
  Donna Wilson
Director, IZUNA Foundation
Vice President, People, Performance & Lower Mainland Laboratories, Provincial Health Services Authority

Donna Wilson is responsible for executive human resources leadership across PHSA. She will also be responsible for the consolidated public laboratory network of the Lower Mainland Pathology & Laboratory Medicine and the Provincial Infection Control Network of BC, and be PHSA Liaison, Lower Mainland Pharmacy & Diagnostic Imaging. Donna was Senior Vice President, People, Community and Strategy at LifeLabs; Vice President, Industry Services & Sustainability at WorkSafeBC; Executive Vice President, Workforce & Sustainability at the Vancouver Olympic Organizing Committee; and Vice President, Human Resources at Vancity. Donna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Simon Fraser University and an Executive Management Certificate from Queens University, and is a Chartered Director (McMaster University).

Cathy Young
Director, IZUNA Foundation
Principal, Young Strategies Ltd.

Cathy Young is a principal of Young Strategies Ltd., working as a governance and public-private partnership advisor to public sector clients by assisting them in corporate and project governance, as well as in the development of procurement processes, project planning, and commercial contract terms. Previously, she was an Associate at Farris, Vaughan, Wills & Murphy LLP and a Manager of Consulting at KPMG. Cathy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Bishop's University in Quebec and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CA) and a past member of the Law Society of BC. She was a governor at Vancouver Community College, including two years as Board Chair. Appointed to the IZUNA Board of Governors in 2014, Cathy is currently the Chair of the Audit & Finance Committee.
