Rebecca Robertson graduated from UBC with a BSc in Microbiology. Rebecca brings extensive industry experience to IZUNA having established and operated a business partnership offering technical consulting to the food industry for 15 years.
Rebecca's areas of expertise include HACCP Program development and implementation, product development, and education and training. Her teaching approach combines science and business to offer practical, economical solutions that work in a business context.
Crystal Cinq-Mars obtained her M.Sc. in Food Science from UBC. Crystal has worked in Quality Assurance, and more recently, in Food Safety and Food Product Development with a local consulting company.
While at UBC, Crystal held several educational positions including Instructional Skills Workshop Facilitator, Peer Coach, and Food Science Instructor. Crystal's expertise in teaching and learning is reflected in her enthusiasm and dedication as an instructor and course developer.
Lisa WeihLisa Weih is a graduate of the IZUNA Environmental Health Program and holds a Provincial Instructors Diploma and Associate Certificate in Food Safety. Lisa has been employed as a Regional Environmental Health Officer since 1992 and has worked as an independent Food Safety Educator since 2007, teaching a variety of food safety courses to food manufacturers throughout BC.
Lisa is a dynamic and experienced instructor who brings many years of industry experience and great enthusiasm for food safety to every workshop she delivers.
