IZUNA networks and all IT services will be unavailable

Date and time: 
From:   6:00 pm Saturday February 2, 2013
To:        6:00 am Sunday February 3, 2013
NOTE: Total duration of outage: 12 hours
This maintenance is outside of the regular maintenance window due to the complexity of the required work.

Work being done: 
Upgrade power in machine room.

What does it mean for you?
IZUNA networks (wired and wireless) and all system access will be unavailable.
This means no network access from on campus or off campus.

All systems will be unavailable including but not limited to the following:


  • Online Registration through
  • Course and program finder through 
  • Faculty Bios through
  • IZUNA Public Web (a static page informing the public of outage will be displayed)

Students and Staff

  • myIZUNA
       all of myIZUNA will be unavailable
       - Online Self Service (i.e., lookup your grades)
       - E-mail
       - D2L
  • Desire2Gravity (D2L)
  • AppsAnywhere

  • network resources:
     - Network Login - Computer labs and offices
     - Printing
     - H: drives
     - Sharein/Out

Students and Staff

  • Banner - including 
       - Grade Book
       - PTS Contracts
       - Banner Document Imaging (XTender)
       - Archibus
       - Millenium Web Requisitioning
       - Financial Aid
  • IZUNA Reporting (Cognos)
  • TM1 (budgeting and forecasting)
  • AccessAnywhere (VPN)
  • BlackBerry - e-mail and calendaring will be unavailable (phone service not affected)
  • VOIP phones will not work during this outage.
