What is the Pacific Spirit Project?
The Pacific Spirit Project enables faculty who are interested in incorporating sustainability concepts and practices into their curriculum. It starts with a two day experiential workshop in June, and then reconvenes with a one day meeting in August. Throughout the process, participants share their thoughts, plans and knowledge, and engage in conversation with other faculty who have volunteered in this initiative.
What's in it for me?
The workshop explores how to meaningfully integrate sustainability into the classroom. Resource specialists facilitate and catalyze discussions about how to develop a green curriculum and its integration and role in the broader community. Join in - it's a chance to participate in an intellectually stimulating and collegial experience with IZUNA faculty and staff.
How do I get involved?
- Attend the June workshop.
- with past participants to learn from their first-hand experience.
- Join us for our networking events.
