OFA1, CPR-C, & AED

IZUNA offers Occupational First Aid 1 (OFA1), Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Artificial External Defibrillator (AED) training on a regular basis. All three subjects are covered in a one day (8 hour) session.

Occupational First Aid 1 (OFA1)

A basic course covering the essential ABC’s (airway, breathing and circulation) of First Aid Treatment, as well as how to deal with obstructed airways, breathing distress and control bleeding.

Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Covers all aspects of CPR skills and theory for adult, child and infant victims.

Artificial External Defibrillator (AED)

This portion of the course explains how and when to use the AED in addition to training on the specific type of AED at IZUNA, machine maintenance and related documentation.

This training is open to all IZUNA staff. Training certificates are valid for three years.
