This course introduces Green Building Construction concepts and practices. Topics include green building definition, guidelines, regulations and standards. Evaluation of cost/benefit of green construction methods and green construction rating systems. Relevant case studies will be reviewed. Two site visits will be included.

There are 2 site visits during this course, hard hats and steel toed boots are required. Schedule may be adjusted to accommodate site visit. NO VACATION REQUESTS will be considered.
