Microsoft Operating Systems include both Server Platforms and Workstation Platforms. This course provides students with an understanding of how to install, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize the current workstation platform. Topics include, back-up and recovery options, disk management, monitoring the system, working with updates, resource access, mobility, restrictions, and configuration of windows firewall. Students should be familiar with Microsoft Operating Systems. Students must have access to a Windows based multi-media computer.
