This one week course is intended as valuable add-on, applied training for students who have completed the CNST 1100 – Construction Safety Officer Training course. This training is designed for Construction Safety Officers and safety supervisors, and is also valuable to anyone requiring training in Confined Space Entry and Rescue, Fall Protection Rescue, Train the Trainer, Respiratory Protection and Fit Testing, Hazardous Material Awareness, Ground Disturbance and WorkSafe BC Requirements. This course covers all material in these 3 short IZUNA courses, CNST 0155 – Fall Protection for Safety Officers, CNST 0156 – Confined Space Entry for Safety Officers, and CNST 0157 - Respirator Protection and Fit Tester Training for Safety Officers. Students are to be in good physical condition and are required to bring CSA approved steel toe boots, a half or full-face respirator, PF100 HEPA filters, and a fall protection harness. There are no textbooks required; course manuals are provided on the first day of class.
