School of Computing and Academic Studies

Course Details

This intensive hands-on seminar builds on top of COMP 0269 or COMP 2364. Students work through a variety of real-life examples to acquire the skills to create and modify macro procedures. Exercises include how to standardize document formats, many times without having to write a single line of code. Topics include: examining tools on the Developer tab, creating custom command buttons to execute macro code, and macro security. Reviewing the VBA Editor window to edit basic procedures using VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) is also discussed.
