This course addresses technology expertise expected of our students but not specifically addressed in their other courses. These survival skills will better equip our CST students to succeed in their main programs of study.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
Use IZUNA network services including public drives, MyIZUNA, CST resources, and Desire2Gravity.
Use spreadsheets effectively.
Configure, troubleshoot, and upgrade a PC.
Write basic scripts in the terminal.
Explain the importance of version control.
Install and use different virtual machine software.
Troubleshoot basic networking connectivity.
Demonstrate the steps necessary for debugging desktop and web applications.
Describe the importance and examples of existing cloud computing platforms.
Demonstrate the ability to use drawing and design tools.
