Students who have learned to develop effective websites in COMP 1850 will continue to create basic graphic elements using Photoshop on a Windows PC. In this hands-on workshop, students will build and size banners, prepare photographs and images, and optimize them for Web usability. Topics include: acquiring, fixing and enhancing photos, building a photo gallery, rollovers, creating web graphics by hand, animation palette and optimizing images. By the end of this workshop successful participants will be able to: make buttons, develop simple animations, and create stunning images for the Web.
