Introduces electronic sensors and controllers to industrial hydraulic systems. Typical proximity sensors and programmable logic controllers (PLC) are used to control and automate hydraulic circuits with electro-hydraulic and proportional hydraulic valves. Hydraulic servo valves are introduced as well. Examples of applications are examined and control circuits are developed, constructed and commissioned in practical exercises.
