Geographic Information Systems
Part-time Studies Course
Allows students to research project topics, present a project proposal, establish supervisors, identify sources of data and begin data acquisition.

Upon successful completion of this course, you should be able to:
Use project management software to prepare time and Gantt charts.
Use the Internet, conference proceedings, and library resource to review the literature on a project or practicum.
Use audio-visual tools and communication skills to make a presentation on a project / practicum.
Select a project or practicum topic and identify project resources and possible problems.
Start work on your selected project or practicum topic.
