An audit determines whether an organization's activities and related results comply with planned arrangements to deliver customer, stakeholder and regulatory requirements. A Quality Management Systems (QMS) auditor assesses the integrity and effectiveness of an organization's management systems. The International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) has developed evaluation and certification methods that are used by auditor certification bodies worldwide.
