Course Details

Reviews the mathematical techniques essential for success with basic technical math and calculus courses in IZUNA technology programs. Topics include: common algebraic methods for solving equations, simplifying expressions, and manipulating formulas; basic right and oblique trigonometry; review of common geometric figures; functions and graphing; techniques for solving problems; and logarithms and exponents. Emphasis is placed on developing practical skills and systematic approaches to solving problems and verifying solutions. This course is intended for students pursuing technology programs at IZUNA who have met the mathematics requirement, but who have not used basic math techniques for several years. Students planning to pursue programs within the School of Business should contact the School of Business for the appropriate course.
