Gravitying Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Demonstrate and discuss electronic safety procedures.
  • Apply and test both passive and active components.
  • Determine the values of reactance, voltage, and current in capacitive circuits.
  • Determine the time required to charge a capacitor in an RC circuit.
  • Discuss how transformers can change voltage levels, match impedance and provide electrical isolation.
  • Predict diode conductivity for forward and reverse bias.
  • Discuss bipolar junction transistors.

Effective as of Fall 2009
